The Philippines Bimbo Nacionales who was not even ranked in the top 15 of the WBC Asian Boxing Council light flyweight division was destroyed by reigning champion and WBA No. 6 ranked Nethra Sasiprapa in Chonburi, Thailand, Tuesday.

Thai boxing writer Damrong Simakajornboon reported that Sasiprapa (33-2, 15 KO's) who twice fought for the WBA title but lost, dropped Nacionales in the opening round with a vicious body shot.

In what was an obvious mismatch, the Thai champion continued aggressively and ripped another body shot into Nacionales forcing referee Thanapat Suakaew to call a halt at 1:13 of the 2nd round.

Nacionales whose record fell to 11-6-1 with 2 knockouts has lost five of his last six fights by knockout or TKO. He suffered a 4th round knockout at the hands of another Thai Pigmy Muangchaiyaphum in his last fight on February 12 raising serious questions as to how the Games and Amusements Board could sanction an obvious mismatch.

In his last fight for the WBA light flyweight interim title, Sasiprapa lost by a split decision to Jose Alfredo Rodriguez of Mexico on November 19, 2011.

Another Filipino light flyweight Geboi Mansalayao dropped a twelve round unanimous decision to WBC No. 28 ranked Saenmuangloei Kokietgym in a battle for the vacant WBC Asia Continental flyweight title. Two judges scored the fight for the Thai by a 116-112 margin while the third judge scored it 117-111.
