FORMER PACQUIAO SPARRING PARTNER WINS AGAIN

Glen ?Jersey Boy? Tapia, a former sparring partner of ?Fighter of the Decade? Manny Pacquiao, has continued his unbeaten streak with an eight round unanimous decision over Dashon ?Fly Boy? Johnson in a Top Rank fight card in El Psso, Texas, Sunday, Manila Time.
Tapia who has won his last four fights by knockouts couldn?t put Johnson who was coming off three successive defeats be defeats, away even though Tapia controlled the action much of the time.
In his last fight Tapia scored a 1st round knockout over Franklin Gonzalez on August 18 this year while Johnson dropped a six round unanimous decision to undefeated Daquan Arnett last October 13.
The 22 year old light middleweight won handily on the scorecards of all three judges. Two of them had Tapia winning by a 79-73 margin while the third judge had Tapia ahead 78-74.
