If ?Fighter of the Decade? Manny Pacquiao?s mother gets her wish, the eight division world champion will knock out Juan Manuel Marquez in one or two rounds.

Pacquiao and celebrated trainer Freddie Roach have both indicated that only a knockout will help erase the doubts over their three previous encounters, the last of which was the most controversial when Pacquiao won a split decision.

ABS-CBN?s Dyan Castillejo reported that ?Mommy? Dionisia said ?I want him (Manny) to finish Marquez in one or two rounds. Yes, you knock him out? were her instructions.

Pacquiao who winds up his training in General Santos City and flies to Los Angeles on Saturday to begin working out at the Wild Card Gym of Roach beginning next Monday has trained really hard in the two week stint at the Ray Golingan Gym after an early morning run and evening games of basketball and volleyball.

Pacquiao himself has said ?I?m motivated and want to win convincingly.?

He has looked good in sparring against welterweight Rocky Marcial who stands 5?9? tall and has an impressive record of 17 knockouts inn 18 wins with only one defeat.

During their first sparring session last Monday, Pacquiao hammered Marcial who quit at the end of three rounds. In their second sparring session on Wednesday, Pacquiao?s hand-speed and punching power proved too much for Marcial who gave up after four rounds.

He told Castillejo ?I could not sneak in a punch. If I dodge one I get hit by several more.?

Golingan, a longtime friend in whose amateur fight cards Pacquiao made his debut, said Pacquiao ?looks good and is very focused on his training.?
