The 26 year old Molina faces 28 year old Jimenez for the vacant WBO Intercontinental lightweight title.
Moving quickly up the lightweight rankings, Molina who could well be a future opponent of undefeated Filipino southpaw Mercito "No Mercy" Gesta has been waiting for the moment when he could go for his first professional title and fight fans will get a chance to watch that moment on Sunday.
Molina is coming off back-to-back victories over Manuel Leyva and Angino Perez.
The young prospect believes this is his time and fans can size him up and asses his chances of moving from prospect to contender.
The fighter who stands in his way was Santo Domingo?s Marcos ?El Tigre? Jimenez (18-3, 12 KO?s), the winner of eight of his last 10 fights, with his only losses coming against highly-regarded Daniel Jimenez and Diego Magdaleno. Intent on handing Molina his first professional loss, Jimenez has the style and power to test anyone he faces in the 135-pound weight class.
