Filipino flyweight Warlito Parrenas who fights out of Japan under the name Wars Katsumata has been knocked out with one punch in the opening round in a scheduled ten round bout at the Korakeun Hall in Tokyo.

Hall of Fame boxing writer and matchmaker Joe Koizumi reported that Oscar Blanquet who is ranked No. 11 by the WBC, No. 13 by the WBA and No. 14 by the IBF stunned the crowd when he dropped Parrenas who is ranked No. 15 for the full count with a single left hook. The time was 33 seconds of the opening round.
