Las Vegas, NV ? The Filipino boxing superstar is not letting up on his training regimen even on Fight Week. Manny Pacquiao spent most of his day at the UNLV track and the Top Rank Gym Wednesday with the purpose of optimizing his conditioning and skills for his Saturday fight against Timothy Bradley.

But Pacquiao did not only have training to attend to yesterday. He had to fulfill promotional obligations too which came in the form of the final press conference for the fight. The event took almost two hours of the WBO welterweight champ?s time but that did not deter him from going straight to the humid boxing gym afterwards.

Pacquiao warmed up with the help of conditioning coach Alex Ariza prior to doing mitt and pad works with longtime trainer Freddie Roach. Roach and Pacquiao went through with their tactical plans that they will possibly employ against his unbeaten challenger this Saturday night. The duo did several rounds on the pad with Roach mimicking what Bradley may do in the ring.

Pacquiao then proceeded to the speed ball and he hit it with gusto and power as Assistant Coach Buboy Fernandez supervised and timed him. He then went back to the ring and did more stretching with Ariza, this time focusing on his abdominal muscles. He did various types of sit up exercises under Ariza?s guidance and instructions.

Pacquiao was a happy camper during the workout at his promoter?s gym. He is light on his feet and spirit as evidenced by the playing of gospel music in the background while performing his set of exercises. He would state bible passages while doing the jump rope or shadow boxing inside the ring. His pastors would nod in approval of his actions. He would also quiz members of his entourage on their knowledge of the bible, asking them to state the passage of a verse he would shout to them. He would nod in approval if that member gets it right.

Pacquiao?s spiritual exercises will not end there. He would lean on the rope as if it was a podium and preach to the onlookers at the gym. He would explain a certain biblical passage that will come to his mind like a preacher in a church. Pacquiao is not only focusing on strengthening the body but the spirit as well.

The WBO champ is determined to continue sharpening his skills and physique three days before his big date against his opponent. He does not seem to be taking Bradley for granted, one that he admittedly did against Juan Manuel Marquez last November.
