Los Angeles, CA ? Before leaving for the scene of his Saturday battle against his unbeaten opponent, Manny Pacquiao performed his Sunday obligations first at the Christ the King Church in Hollywood.

The champ took his only day off from training and fights week activities this week and celebrated mass with his family and members of his team at this Hancock Park parish church in Los Angeles.

The champ attended the eight thirty morning mass with wife Jinkee and their four kids. The Pacquiao family was chosen to do the Offertory part of the service and was blessed by the officiating priest afterwards. The church was filled with the usual Sunday church goers and supporters of the boxer who calls Los Angeles his second home.

Pacquiao has been training here for a month now in preparations for his June 9th defense of his WBO welterweight belt against unbeaten challenger Timothy Bradley. He and his team will be driving to Las Vegas on Monday where the fight is scheduled to be held. The ?Oasis of Boxing ?, the MGM Grand Garden Arena plays host yet again to another one of the Filipino icon?s much anticipated bout.

Fight week starts this Tuesday as both fighters make their arrival at the MGM Grand Hotel lobby with Bradley arriving at Noon followed by Pacquiao at 12:30 pm. A press conference is scheduled for Wednesday at 12:30 pm at the Hollywood Theatre of the resort where the two will face the media for the final time. Then the weigh-in will take place on Friday at the arena itself at 2:30 pm. Both events scheduled for Tuesday and Friday are open to the general public.

Experts and fans of the sport are expecting a hard battle between the two stars who both promised to give their all this Saturday night.

But not yet, this Sunday is a day to worship God and a family day for Pacman and the Pacquiao?s.
