Pound for pound king Manny Pacquiao?s former sparring partner Shawn ?Showtime? Porter has won once again and taken his winning streak to 19-0 with 14 knockouts.

The 24 year old junior middleweight dominated 39 year old Patrick Thompson stopping him at 1:39 of the sixth round in a scheduled eight round bout at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City.

Porter stepped into the ring after an absence of 14 months and showed no ill-effects.

In his last fight on February 18, 2011 the strongly built Porter who is trained by his father Kenny Porter scored a ten round unanimous decision over tough Anges Adajo.

Thompson was coming off a 4th round knockout of Geoffrey Spruiell last March 16.

Porter was the lead sparring partner of Pacquiao when Pacquiao was preparing for his WBO welterweight title fight against Miguel Cotto.

Porter was named ?Prospect of the Year? for 2011 by the North American Boxing Federation. He is currently ranked No.2 welterweight by the NABF.
