Atlantic City, N.J. ? Canadian junior middleweight Phil Lo Greco 22-0 (12 KOs) opened the night by remaining undefeated against Hector Orozco 5-10 of Minneapolis, MN. Greco of Toronto went strong to the body of Orozco for most parts of the fight on the way to a dominant 6 round Unanimous Decision victory. All three judges have it for Lo Greco?s favor with scores of 59-54 and two identical scores of 58-55.

Another undefeated fighter kept his perfect record intact as neighboring Philadelphia scores first blood when Julian Williams 8-0-1 (4 KOs) carved another Unanimous Decision victory over Puerto Rican Hector Rosario 7-1-2 (5 KOs). Both fighters figured in a good 8 round middleweight fight with each one having moments to shine to the delight of the slowly building crowd here at the Boardwalk Hall Arena. The judges? scores were 79-730 twice and 78-74 all for the unbeaten Williams.

Atlantic City?s own Lavarn Harvell scored a devastating knockout of Tony Pietrantonio 7-8 (6 KOs) of neighboring Sharon, PA. Harvell dropped Pietrantonio in the opening round with a series of hard punches to the head, but Pietrantonio got up from it and survived to finish the round. A big left hook from the hometown fighter sent his opponent flat on his back in the 3rd round. Pietrantonio will remained on his back this time as referee David Fields halted the fight right away after that brutal knockout. Pietrantonio lingered in the canvass for a significant amount of time as his corner and physicians at ringside hovered and assessed the fallen fighter. Emergency medical personnel were summoned to ringside with stretcher in tow by the ring officials as Pietrantonio lay motionless in the ring. He would be able to recover and get out of the ring on his feet to the relief of the stunned crowd. He was applauded as he made his way to his dressing room with his worried corner beside him. The time of the stoppage was 31 seconds of the 3rd round. Harvell improved his undefeated record to 10 and 5 knockouts.

Mike Faragon 17-0 (8 KOs) of Syracuse, NY was another successful undefeated fighter here in the city known as ?America?s Playground.? Faragon outscored Sergio Rivera 16-9-2 (10 KOs) of Huatabampo, Mexico in an 8 round junior welterweight bout in the arena by the shores of the Atlantic. The two fought a heated battle in the inside in front of a crowd that clearly craved for more action in the ring. The scores were 78-74 twice and 79-73 for the undefeated fighter from upstate New York.

Former Manny Pacquiao sparring mate, Shawn Porter continued the streak on victories for fighters with zero losses in their record by outpunching and outclassing Patrick Thompson 18-17-1 (8 KOs) of Chicago, IL. The 18-0 (13 KOs) native of Akron, OH was the faster and accurate boxer tonight as he dominated Thompson in the scheduled 8 round Junior Middleweight bout. Porter came to life in the 6th pounding Thompson who is already bloodied at this point of the fight. Thompson was unable to answer Porter?s onslaught as referee David Fields waived the fight off. Porter who hasn?t fought in more than a year because of contract disputes with his former promoter improved his unbeaten record to 19 and 14 knockouts.
