The much awaited rematch between ?The Executioner? Bernard Hopkins and Chad Dawson where fight fans expect to see bad blood from their first fight spill over, will be telecast on the popular weekly boxing show ?Big Time Bakbakan? on AKTV over IBC 13 at 12:00 noon on Sunday.

Hopkins and Dawson both believe they should have won the controversial fight which ended in the second round with the ageing Hopkins landing on his shoulder and claiming Dawson committed a foul which resulted in a dislocated shoulder although Dawson accuses Hopkins of a fake fall claiming injury because Hopkins wasn?t ready for the fight.

In a controversy riddled fight the referee called it a TKO in favor of Dawson but the California Boxing Commission responded to an appeal from Hopkins and Golden Boy Promotions ruled the fight a ?no decision.?

The result is that Hopkins retains his WBC and Ring Magazine light heavyweight titles and will once again defend them against Dawson.

Fiery promoter Gary Shaw who handles Dawson said recently he believes Hopkins was faking the injury. Shaw said ? I still don't believe Hopkins was ever hurt. We never heard anything about his rehabbing or anything else. My only fear is that Hopkins will not go through with the entire fight. That somewhere in this fight, after he's getting a beating from Chad, will find a way to get out of the fight. Chad is a much superior fighter, younger, stronger, more aggressive and eager, once and for all, to put the legend where he belongs, retired and into the Hall of Fame. So that's my feeling."

For his part Hopkins has told media they?ve often been wrong about him more times than they?ve been right when coming to fight predictions.

The 47 year old champion recalled his May 2011 rematch victory over Jean Pascal in Quebec where, boxing writer Paula Duffy said Hopkins ?looked spry and better than I?d seen him in a long time and won more rounds in the late going than his 28 year-old opponent, something he's done on numerous occasions.?

That impressive win over Pascal assured Hopkins of a place in the history books as the oldest man to take a championship belt, besting George Foreman.

The Hopkins-Dawson rematch will take place at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City while the under card features Seth Mitchell versus Chazz Witherspoon in a 12-round battle for the vacant NABO heavyweight title.
