Veteran Tijuana, Mexico ring warrior Erik ?El Terrible? Morales puts his WBC welterweight title on the line against undefeated junior welterweight Danny ?Swift? Garcia at the Reliant Arena in Houston, Texas on Sunday, Manila Time.

The fight card will be telecast on the widely watched weekly boxing show ?Big Time Bakbakan? over AKTV IBC 13 beginning at 12:00 noon.

Four time world champion Morales who will long be remembered for his classic trilogy with current pound for pound king Manny Pacquiao arrived in Houston on Monday and worked out at the Savannah Boxing Club to stay in top shape for the first defense of his welterweight title against undefeated young lion Danny Garcia.

The 23 year old Garcia has an impressive record of 22 wins with no defeats with 14 of those wins coming by way of knockout. But Garcia has his work cut out for him against Morales who won the title with a rousing victory over Pablo Cano and battled Marcos Maidana in a fight many fans thought Morales deserved to win.

In a recent interview Garcia said that no matter who his opponent is ?I?m going in there to kill.?

Garcia who is from Philadelphia said he is in great shape and that while Morales had his time to shine, ?now its my time. Its time for a new face in boxing.?

The 23 year old made it clear he has trained for a war. Morales has a record of 52-7 with 36 knockouts and had to postpone the fight with Garcia which was originally set for January 28 because of surgery on his gallbladder.
