World Boxing Council president Don Jose Sulaiman believes the agent who switched fighters and sent a bum identified as Genaro ?Panterita? Garcia Gutierrez instead of Genaro ?Poblanito? Garcia who had fought eight world champions and knocked out Rafael Marquez in the 2nd round will be suspended.

The WBC summoned Correa for a hearing to determine what really happened but Sulaiman condemned the fraud and emphasized he would investigate the matter all the way.

In an effort to help ALA Promotions and ABS-CBN who were victims of the fraud, Sulaiman met with the real Garcia?s ?exclusive promoter? Fausto Daniel Garcia about fighting Rey ?Boom Boom? Bautista in the Philippines on May 26.

The WBC president told the Manila Standard he would forward the results of the meeting with the promoter to us to be relayed to ALA Promotions president Michael Aldeguer.

Sulaiman said that an associate of Correa claimed that ?he did not do anything wrong and sent Genaro Garcia Gutierrez who is also known as Genaro Garcia.?

The WBC president requested ?some document that the promoter has indicating that Correa was contracted to send Genaro ?Poblanito? Garcia.

Chad Canares, executive assistant to Aldeguer emailed us some documents which we will forwards to Sulaiman.

In an accompanying note Canares said ?Genaro "Poblanito" Garcia's name first came out in the list sent through email by Hugo Correa dated January 16, 2012. He said ?Based on what was offered to us last January 16, 2012 through email by Hugo Correa, we, in good faith offered Genaro Garcia (believing it was ?Poblanito? that was offered to us in the said email a fight with Boom Boom Bautista scheduled on March 3, 2012.?

Canares insisted that Genaro "Panterita" Garcia ?was never in the picture. I am sending you both the fight contract for your reference and the Mexican Boxing Commission?s approval of the fighter which we believe was approved in good faith and did not know which Genaro Garcia we were negotiating for.?

He added ?We likewise are focusing on getting Genaro "Poblanito" Garcia for Boom Boom's May 2012 fight.?
