Pound for pound king and Asian crossover superstar Manny Pacquiao will meet the newest NBA sensation Jeremy Lin at New York?s Madison Square Garden, home of the New York Knicks on Wednesday next week as part of a hectic schedule laid out for the ?Fighter of the Decade.?

Top Rank promoter Bob Arum told the Manila Standard that Pacquiao who leaves with his adviser Michael Koncz will be in Los Angeles on Thursday night and in Las Vegas on Friday.

Arum said he will give his deposition on Friday in the case which he filed against Floyd Mayweather Jr, his father Floyd Sr and uncle and trainer Roger Mayweather

Pacquiao?s lawyer David Marroso told the Standard he expects Manny to give his deposition on Friday even as he indicated ?we are trying to make final arrangements in light of Manny?s schedule as well as the schedules of several attorneys.?

Marroso made it clear ?Our case against the Mayweathers continues. We expect depositions to occur over the next two months and hopefully trial shortly thereafter.?

Pacquiao will also attend the gala dinner for former heavyweight champion Muhammad Ali on Saturday which is being hosted by the famous Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health which is doing a dinner in honor of Ali who recently celebrated his 7oth birthday.

Arum said the center is the cutting edge on brain disorders such as Parkinson?s disease and Alzheimer and he had been asked to bring in former fighters to join the celebration. Arum already had commitments from George Foreman, Ken Norton, Leon Spinks, Chuck Wepner, George Chuvalo and also Sugar Ray Leonard, Tommy Hearns and Roberto Duran and we?re reaching out for Marvin Hagler.

He said ?Hopefully Manny can join the festivities and I?ll even allow him to sing a song in honor of Muhammad Ali. So it should be a great, great night.?

Getting down to business Arun indicated they will ? sort out everything ?related to Pacquiao?s June 6 WBO welterweight title defense on June 9, on Monday.

Arum said that on the same day Pacquiao ?will do all the commercials and the promo stuff in LA at the Beverly Hills Hotel followed by a press conference on Tuesday.

Pacquiao is also scheduled to fly to New York on Tuesday night and ?will do something for Nike in the morning, shoot some more stuff in the afternoon and then we are taking him to Madison Square Garden for a meet and greet with the new Asian superstar in basketball., Jeremy Lin.?

Arum said Pacquiao will discuss his training schedule with Freddie Roach even as Koncz earlier indicated Pacquiao is likely to begin training in Baguio City in mid-April and probably spend 3 to 4 weeks training in the Philippines summer capital before leaving for the second half of his preparation for the title defense against undefeated Timothy Bradley at the Wild Card Gym in Los Angeles.

The Top Rank promoter appeared unconcerned about fears expressed in some quarters that since Pacquiao is a completely changed man for the better having given up his previous wild and wooly ways, may lose the fire to fight.

Arum disagreed. He said ?now that he?s found religion he will be a lot more dedicated than he was when he was playing pool and gambling. I think he?ll be in much better shape physically and mentally for the fight because he needs to be.?

The astute promoter described Bradley as ?a young, hungry guy? and it would be ?a mistake to take Bradley lightly because he is a very, very dangerous opponent.?
