Distorted facial attributes, as the fight billing suggests, would be a likely result as Adones "TI Yamagata" Aguelo of TI Gym in Mandaue City defends his Philippine Boxing Federation (PBF) featherweight title against ring veteran Renan Branzuela of Bukidnon. This will be the main offering of a pro-am card in barangay Basak gym, Lapu-Lapu City on Feb. 19 and will serve as the first title defense for Aguelo, who won the title last September in Siquijor with a TKO against Jake Verano. In his last fight, he gave undefeated "Land Down Under" prospect Joel Brunker a tough tussle before losing a close decision in Australia.

Roemart "TI Yamagata" Sentillas will lock horns with Romnick Magos for ten rounds as well as Yamagata, Japan-native Mashasi Tada against Junior Salvador in a 6-rounder in the preliminaries.

Not to be outdone, GMA 7's Buhay Boksingero champions Gerpaul "TI Yamagata" Valero and Rajah Renoel Pael of Matalom, Leyte are also scheduled to fight separate opponents in the undercard. Valero will be pitted against Erwin Pulvera for 8 rounds and Pael vs. Lyndel Radoc for 6 rounds.
Completing the pro card will be Ardie "TI Yamagata" Boyose vs. Jovan Munoz for 4 rounds.
Former national team member and amateur standout Brix Flores will be calling the shots for TI Yamagata boxers.

Serving as appetizers will be 9 amateur bouts featuring the best pugs of Cebu. Complete list are as follows: Eran Boyose of Mabolo, Cebu vs. Renato Inso of Basak, Lapu-Lapu City, Eghan Lovino of Cabancalan, Mandaue City vs. Juny Vic Inso of Basak, Ariel Sibay of UV Mandaue vs. Juner Comilang of Basak, Richard Rama of Phil-Aust boxing club vs. John Ric Inso of Basak, Romel Tunacao of UV Mandaue vs. Alfred Sungkad of Bankal, Lapu-Lapu City, Ting Wagas of Lilo-an vs. Catubay Intor of Camotes Island, Melmark Dignos of Basak vs. Jeffrey Estella of Phil-Aust boxing club, Mark Kevin Soreno of Mandaue vs. Orlan Taneca of Basak and Uelmark Dignos of Basak vs. Greg Presbitero of Consolacion.

Mr. Akira Sato of TI Yamagata Boxing Promotions will be bringing this boxing extravaganza free to the public as well as Basak barangay captian Isabelito "Belong" Darnayla and barangay officials. Major sponsor is Cong. Luigi Quisumbing of 6th District of Cebu.
