Pound for pound king Manny Pacquiao's adviser Michael Koncz who Floyd Mayweather Jr has been communicating with since a one-on-one meeting at the Mayweaher Gym in Las Vegas last December insists that contrary to Mayweather's claims Pacquiao "is not ducking and his remarks chastising Manny are uncalled for."

Koncz told the Manila Standard that Pacquiao had instructed him sometime ago to initiate discussions with Mayweather regarding a fight the world wants to see and that Pacquiao had agreed to the demand of Mayweather for drug testing "any and every day but not on the day of the fight."

Koncz said that in the last telephone conversation with Mayweather who also spoke to Pacquiao, they had offered Mayweather a "guaranteed purse of $50 million" in response to his offer of a $40 million guarantee to Pacquiao."

Koncz said that Pacquiao had even agreed to give Mayweather a large share of the pay-per-view and other income on a 45-55 split after Pacquiao originally asked of a 50-50 split which Mayweather had agreed to some two years ago whe discussions on a proposed fight took place.

The adviser also revealed that while Pacquiao would have preferred a May 26 fight the May 5 date proposed by Mayweather "was never ruled out."

Koncz has throughout kept his commitment to Mayweather not to reveal details of their conversations to the media even as he said that Mayweather was "very cordial and professional" but that in the light of Mayweather's "derogatory and uncalled for statements I had to respond."
