
LAURO BEATEN IN PABA TITLE FIGHT

Roque ?Fireman? Lauro has been beaten in a Pan Asian Boxing Association interim title fight by Wisanu Por Nobnum (Kokietgym) in a fight card in Kanchanaburi, Thailand.
All three judges scored the fight for the defending Thai champion. Chalerm Prayadsab had Wisanu ahead 115-113, Chuchart Kaokit scored it 116-112 and Worasak Pakdeekam had it for Wisanu by an even wider 117-112.
With the win the 27 year old southpaw Wisanu improved to 40-8-2 with 12 knockouts while the 26 year old Lauro dropped to 4-9-1 with 1 knockout according to boxrec.com.
Lauro lost 3 of his last five fights, won 1 with one fight ending in a majority draw. He dropped a unanimous eight round decision to Shuhei Ito on December 17, 2011 after losing a ten round bout to another Japanese Munetsugu Kayo on September 26, 2011.
In a supporting bout Ronnel ?Tarver? Esparas, a 22 year old southpaw who had lost 3 of his last 5 fights was beaten by veteran Thai light welterweight Prawet Siingwancha who is ranked No. 4 in the world by the WBC. With the win Prawet improved his record to 46-3-2 with 27 knockouts while Esparas dropped to 9-7-1 with 1 knockout.
Prawet won the WBC International light welterweight title with a twelve round unanimous decision over Indonesia?s Heri Andriyanto on April 16, 2009 and successfully defended his title with a 5th round knockout of Eusebio Baluarte who had a record of 16-1 on February 12, 2010.
The third Filipino on the Kokiet Gym promotion Edison Berwela fought to a six round draw against Saengmuangloei Kokietgym whose birth name was born Sooksan Chaichana.
Berwela the 26 year old southpaw ended up with a record of 11-19-5 with 2 knockouts while Saengmuangloei finished with a record of 11-3-3 with 2 knockouts.
