BIADO EXACTS REVENGE, WINS PBB FACE OFF SERIES

Manila, Philippines---FILIPINO star Carlo ?The Black Tiger? Biado avenged the loss of his fellow Bugsy player after scoring a solid 9-4 win over Taiwanese ace Chang Jung-lin in the Philippine Bigtime Billiards (PBB) Face Off Series late Friday at the Pagcor Airport Casino in Para?aque City.

Biado, the 2011 BSCP National Pool Championsips ruler, exacted revenge over Chang who beat his fellow Bugsy Promotions stablemate Roberto "Superman" Gomez, 9-7, in the last week of PBB Face Off Series.

The win was worth $5,000 for Biado while Chang settled for $2,500 in this race-to-9, winner's break format, jointly organized by the Mega Sports World and BRKHRD Corp and aired live over Solar Sports, Sky Channel 70 and Destiny Channel 34, and also aired worldwide through the Internet, live streaming at www.megasportsworld.com and www.philippinebigtimebilliards.com.

"Sinabi ko sa sarili ko na kailangan ibawi ko si (Roberto) Gomez at ayoko ng mapahiya pa tayo sa harap ng mga kababayan natin." said the La Union native Biado, currently World No.16.

"Buti naman nagbunga y'ung ginawa kong paghahanda kay Chang. Ito na marahil ang isa sa pinakamagandang regalo sa akin ngayong Pasko at Bagong Taon," he added.

The PBB Face Off is a joint undertaking of Mega Sports World and BRKHRD Corp., and organized in cooperation with Airport Casino Filipino, Crown Sound System Sakura Amplifiers and Home Theater Systems, Malungai Life Oil, Diamond Billiard table, Hermes Sports Bar, I-Bar, Golden Leaf Restaurant, Bugsy Promotions, Mandarin Sky Sea Food Restaurant, Billiards Managers and Players Association of the Philippines (BMPAP) with The Philippine Star as official media partner.

Meanwhile, the PBB Face Off series resumes with a match pitting Wu Chia Ching of China against Efren "Bata" Reyes on Dec. 30.
