Pabular loses by a split decision

MINIMUMWEIGHT Kurt John "Baby Boy" Pabular lost by a split decision to Japan’s Takero Kitano last Monday night, April 13 at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo.
The scores were 74-78, 75-77 and 77-75.
It was the second loss suffered by the 20-year-old Pabular against eight wins with six knockouts.
Kitano, 21, posted his 10th win against one loss and one draw.
“It’s OK, it’s a split decision,” said Pabular.
Pabular will fly home at 9 a.m. today, April 14 together with chief trainer and manager Nonoy Neri and trainer Jopeto Masangkay.
“I will first spend my family time for about two weeks and then go back for training again,” said Pabular.
Meanwhile, super featherweight Lito “Brave Heart” Badenas suffered a 8th round knock out to Masanori Rikioshi of Japan
Hideyuki Ohashi of Ohashi Promotions was the promoter.
