BAUTISTA, 'PINOY PRIDE X' HEADLINERS WORK OUT AT SM CEBU (PHOTOS)

CEBU CITY ? Before boxing heats up again next week in the boxing capital of the Philippines when the Mexicans and other foreign opponents will arrive for next Saturday's 'Pinoy Pride X', popular Filipino featherweight contender Rey 'Boom-Boom' Bautista and other participants of the event including undefeated rising prospect Genesis Servania and the road warrior Rocky Fuentes showed up at SM City Cebu where mall goers, shopping for Christmas, filled the area to watch the boxers performed their routine exercises.

Bautista, who is trying to regain lost ground, will have his hands full when he will battle undefeated Miguel Angel Mendoza of Mexico with a fearsome record of 17 knockouts in 17 victories as the Boholano will try to defend his IBF International Featherweight title at the Hoops Dome in Lapulapu City on December 10.

Meanwhile, undefeated Genesis Servania (15-0-0, 5KO) of Bacolod City will go up against Mexican Marcos Cardenas, also undefeaed with a record of 12 victories with 9 knockouts. Rocky Fuentes (29-6-2, 17KO), the reigning OPBF flyweight champion, will face Lookdiaw Tor Buamas (7-2-0 4KO) of Thailand.

Also doing their public workouts were the next generation ALA prospects, all undefeated. Roma Rate, Mark Andrew Acub and Mark Vincent Bernaldez. ALA Promotions also unveiled the KO girls who entertained the crowd with a dance routine.
