ARUM RECEIVES NEW YORK KNICKS JERSEY

Hall of Fame Top Rank promoter Bob Arum has been given a New York Knicks No.80 jersey to commemorate his 80th birthday this December 8.

The Executive Vice President of Madison Square Garden Sports, Joel Fisher made the presentation during the final press conference in New York City for Miguel Cotto and Antonio Margarito.

With the shortened NBA season set to begin on December 25, Christmas Day, the jersey presentation also helped remind NBA basketball fans that the long drawn out lockout is over and its time for the superstars of basketball to strut their wares.

Cotto and Margarito square off in their upcoming highly-anticipated way in a World Championship rematch for Cotto's WBA super welterweight title on Sunday, December 4 Manila Time in a fight to be telecast on Studio 23 at 7:00 p.m. the dame day.

The fight will take place at Madison Square Garden and is promoted by Top Rank, in association with Cotto Promotions, Tornado Promotions, AT&T, and Madison Square Garden and will be produced and distributed Live by HBO Pay-Per-View.
