
ALCOS BEATEN IN ASIAN BOXING COUNCIL TITLE FIGHT

Julius Alcos has been beaten by defending champion Saenmuangloei Kokietgymm whose birth name is Sooksan Chaichana in a WBC Asian Boxing Council light flyweight title fight in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand.
The 26 year old Thai won by a twelve round unanimous decision to improve his record to 10-3-2 with 2 knockouts while dropping the 27 year old Alcos to 19-9 with 3 knockouts..
Judge Thanapat Suakaen scored it 116-112, Tanadol Yooburk 118-111 and Thanawat Wongsasan 116-112 all for the champion.
Saenmuangloei won the vacant title with a 2nd round TKO of Indonesia?s comparatively unknown fighter, Rian . In his last fight the champion scored a 2nd round knockout over Domi Nenokeba in a scheduled six round tune-up bout.
Saenmuangloei won the vacant WBC International flyweight title with a twelve round unanimous decision over Indonesia?s Bayu Anggorolo on April 16, 2009.
Alcos in his last fight before the ABC title showdown won an eight round decision over Erwin Pulvera last April 28.
