FORMER PACQUIAO SPARMATE RODELA KO?D IN 5TH ROUND

Lightweight David ?Dangerous? Rodela, a former sparring partner of pound-for-pound king Manny Pacquuao has f ailed to live up to his ?dangerous? monicker and was knocked out in the 5th round by undefeated Luis Ramos in a fight card at The Hanger at the OC F air & Event Center in Costa Mesa, California.

A vicious left to the mid-section dropped Rodela who was counted out by referee Raul Caiz Jr at 1:57 of the round.

With the win, Ramos improved to 20-0 with 7 knockouts while Rodel fell to 15-5-3 with 6 knockouts.

Ramos and Rodela were scheduled to face each other last August but Ramos was mugged by three thugs during the week of the fight resulting in a postponement until September 30.

The loss was the 29 year old Rodela?s second in a row having dropped a unanimous six round decision to Lonnie Smith in his last fight.
