WBO CONVENTION FIGHT CARD ANNOUNCED

The exciting fight card that will highlight the World Boxing Organization (WBO) Convention in Puerto Rico on October 29 was announced at a official press conference in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, today..

The card which will take place at the Coliseo Mario ?Quijote? Morales in Guyanabo will be headlined by former world champions from Puerto Rico.

Ivan Calderon will battle Raul ?Rayito? Garcia for the WBO interim minimum weight title along with former WBO super bantamweight champion Wilfredo Vazquez Jr and Carlos ?El Indio? Quintana.

The WBO Convention will be held from October 24 to 29.

Raul Garcia was not present at the press conference since he is in Cebu City in the Philippines training with his identical twin brother Ramon Garcia Hirales who will defend his WBO light flyweight title against Filipino Donnie Nietes, the former WBO minimum weight champion in Bacolod City on October 8

Garcia arrived in Cebu on Wednesday and had a light workout at the Omega Gym in the afternoon. He was scheduled to work out again today.
