Boxing?s pound for pound king Manny Pacquiao has once again literally hit a bullseye with the launch of his brand new darts line on Thursday, August 25th at the Midas Hotel (the former Hyatt Hotel) in Pasay City.

Pacquiao who plays darts for relaxation at his Palazzo apartment after a hard day?s training at Freddie Roach?s Wild Card Gym in Los Angeles will unveil his own personal range of soft and steel-tip darts, flights, surrounds, and bristle and soft-tip dart boards.

Since joining forces with Target Darts, the UK?S most prestigious darts design and manufacturing company, Pacquiao has worked hand in hand with the British firm to create what TV sports commentator and host Ted Lerner said are ?clearly some of the most exciting products ever to hit the world darts market.?

Lerner told the Daily Inquirer that the entire product range will be on sale beginning this week at all Toby?s Sports outlets throughout the Philippines, and other selected retail outlets. The Manny Pacquiao darts products will then be rolled out worldwide over the next several months.

He said one of the highlights of Manny?s darts range is an innovative new Manny Pacquiao darts pack for children which contains a Pacquiao branded paper board and two sets of Pacquiao branded soft tip darts.

Meanwhile, Target Dart?s International Sales Manager, Matt Gilewicz confirmed that ?Pacquiao?s commitment to helping children improve their math skills through playing darts was the sole reason for the ?Family Pack? dart set.?

The darts sets will be part of an educational initiative designed to help promote enhanced math skills in the Philippines. This will compliment Pacquiao?s on-going charitable endeavours, as well as his political initiatives as the lone congressman from the province of Sarangani.

Target Darts have been designing and manufacturing the highest quality products for nearly forty years from their base in Harlow in the south east of England and company Managing Director Garry Plummer, was thrilled with the deal to be working with Pacquiao, saying ?We are absolutely delighted to be working with someone of Pacquiao?s calibre who is a sports icon known throughout the world. Not only is Manny a fantastically talented competitor in the boxing ring, but he also conducts himself with great dignity and professionalism, and it is a wonderful accolade for everyone at the company to be working with such a renowned sporting ambassador.

?Aside from his record-breaking boxing exploits, Manny is a great scholar of the game of darts, as well as a highly talented dart player. He is also a generous patron to the sport, having sponsored his own darts tournaments; which have been held in his native Philippines and Los Angeles in recent years.

?Manny?s enthusiasm for the game of darts and our knowledge, built over nearly forty years in business, has resulted in a wonderful addition to our product range, and I am confident that sports fans around the globe will be as excited as both Manny and I are about what we have painstakingly created over the past few months.?

As part of the promotional efforts surrounding the launch of Manny?s darts line, Target Darts is offering fans of the Pacman a chance to get their hands on some of the stunning new merchandise, absolutely free.

On offer are three of the new Manny Pacquiao family dart cabinet sets. The cabinet sets are the premiere item in Manny?s entire dart line. The set comes complete with a pro size bristle dart board encased inside a handsome wooden cabinet that has Manny?s picture on the front. The set also includes 6 free Manny darts.

To get a chance to win the Manny cabinet set, simply go to Target Darts? Facebook page at, www.facebook.com/targetdarts and add Target as a friend. Winners will be announced at the press launch of the Manny Pacquiao line of darts and dart products in Manila on August 25th at the Midas Hotel.
