An angry Michael Koncz, adviser to pound-for-pound king Manny Pacquiao has blasted a claim of reporter Ben Thompson on Fighthype.com quoting a reliable source that Koncz had returned to Manila with a letter from Top Rank promoter Bob Arum to Pacquiao asking him to terminate the services of the VisionQuest Resource Group.

VisionQuest was hired to handle Pacquiao?s tax and accounting details and to review his business contracts.

Koncz who had recommended that Pacquiao hire the accounting firm told the Daily Inquirer ?I am adamantly denying it right now and whoever that so-called source is, is full of b---l s?t!.?

Koncz said Arum has ?no right to interfere with people employed by Manny. Why would he do such a thing? Bob never did such a thing.?

The Pacquiao adviser said the claim ?is totally absurd and I have no idea who this person close to VisionQuest is.?

Boxing writer Ben Thompson of Fighthype.com claimed that a representative of VisionQuest had contacted the Nevada State Athletic Commission in an attempt to gather more information regarding the eight division world champion?s bouts agreements.

Thompson alleged that ?evidently the move did not sit well with Arum who immediately took action by having Koncz return to the Philippines.?

He further said Fighthype.com had learned that Michael Lodge, president and CEO of VisionQuest had informed the site that they have arrived in Makati and ?would be meeting with Pacquiao Saturday to review some 'open issues' they found from the research they have conducted thus far.?

Koncz said Pacquiao was shooting his new TV show over GMA Channel 7 in Davao City.

What Koncz carried with him after discussions with the Top Rank promoter were details of the media tour for the Juan Manuel Marquez trilogy which kicks-off in Manila on September 3.
