ELIMINATOR BOUT FOR WBC YOUTH TIARA ON THE LINE AT THE BAKBAKAN SA ELORDE ON SATURDAY

RENAN Tronco of Palawan is aiming a big win against Albert Alcoy of Marinduque for the Philippine Federation Light Flyweight championship belt on Saturday at the famous Elorde Sports Complex , A. De Los Santos (formerly Sucat, Road).

If Tronco beat Alcoy he will earn a ticket for a possible World Boxing Council (WBC) Youth Intercontinental light flyweight title shot on October 22.

"Gagawin ko lahat na manalo kay Albert," said the 22 years old Tronco who tote 8-3, 5 knockouts. It will a comeback fight of Tronco who bowed to interim WBA world minimumweight ruler Sammy Gutierrez of Mexico for a world title belt at the Buenos Aires, Argentina last February 12.

Alcoy, meantime is fresh from a win against Rollen Castillo of Cebu last April who parade 13-10-3, 3 KOs.

Organized by North Star Sports in close cooperation with Elorde Boxing International, the 12 rounds fight, 108 pounds backed up by San Miguel Beer, Ginebra San Miguel, Petron Max Diesel and San Mig Coffee dubbed as "Bakbakan sa Elorde" which will move around the cities of country, to bring the sport of boxing closer to the people.
