
PONGSAKLEK VS. SOSA SHOWDOWN IN OCTOBER

The World Boxing Council says its proud to announce the long awaited title showdown between WBC flyweight champion Pongsaklek Wonjongkam of Thailand and mandatory contender and former WBC light flyweight champion Edgar Sosa of Mexico.
Pongsaklek Wonjongkam (89-3-1, 44 KO?s) is a two-time WBC flyweight champion who has defended his title 21 times and is regarded as one of the greatest champions in the history of Thailand.
Edgar Sosa (43-6-0, 26 KO?s) on the other hand held the WBC light flyweight title and made 10 title defenses losing his crown in a controversial second round TKO to Filipino Rodel Mayol.
The WBC said the battle between the 2 little giants will take place in Thailand at the end of October.
