Pound for pound king Manny Pacquiao?s strength and conditioning coach Alex Ariza has his own blog on Pacquiao?s new website mpboxing.com.
Ariza told us he writes a blog on sports, nutrition and strength and conditioning.
Having seen what Alex?s program has done for Pacquiao ever since he the strength and conditioning coach teamed up with trainer Freddie Roach some two weeks prior to the David Diaz lightweight title fight, its clear that fighters and athletes in general can benefit immensely from Alex?s knowledge.
Its titled ?Ariza?s Corner of the Ring.?
In fact, ALA Gym strength and conditioning coach Pio Solon whose methods in many respects are similar to Ariza?s has helped fighters like undefeated Milan Melindo, WBO minimum weight champion Donnie Nietes, Rey ?Boom Boom? Bautista, AJ ?Bazooka? Banal, Jason Pagara and OPBF flyweight champion Rocky Fuentes add power and explosiveness in recent fights.
Ariza is currently handling Manny?s training at the Wild Card Gym in the absence of trainer Freddie Roach who is with WBA light welterweight champion Amir Khan in Manchester, England for his title defense on Saturday.
This, in itself, shows how much both Pacquiao and Roach respect Ariza as an integral member of Team Pacquiao.
