REPORT: MTHALANE STOPPED CASIMERO IN 5TH ROUND

IBF flyweight champion Moruti Mthalane of South Africa successfully defended his belt by stopping Johnreil Casimero of the Philippines in the 5th round at the Nasrec Indoor Arena in Johannesburg, South Africa Saturday night according to reports.
The Ormoc-born Casimero (14-2-0 8KO) absorbed his second consecutive loss after previously losing to Ramon Garcia Hirales of Mexico last year when he failed to defend his Interim IBF flyweight title he won over Cesar Canchilla of Nicaragua in 2009.
Mthalane (27-2-0 18KO) racked up his 4th consecutive victory after losing to Nonito Donaire, Jr on Nov. 1, 2008 in Las Vegas.
