CEBU CITY -- Iligan City native Marco Singwancha sent ring jester Daryl Amoncio of Butuan City to the canvas three times en route to a second round stoppage to register his 10th win and kept his immaculate record at the Inayawan Sports Complex here Saturday night. The Singwancha-Amoncio 8-round scheduled fight served as the main event of the GMA7 Buhay Boksingero boxing series that got underway also Saturday night.

Singwancha, whose birth name is Marco Demecillo and is jointly managed by the RWS and Singwancha stables, scored the first knockdown over Amoncio towards the end of the first round as Amoncio (4-16-0), who apparently was more eager to entertain the crowd than to find a way to defeat his opponent, waited for the referee's count to reach at 8 before quickly standing straight up as if nothing happened.

Amoncio went down again in the second round from a Singwancha combination and repeated the same antic by waiting and quickly standing up at the count of 8 with a smile on his face as the crowd burst into laughter. A couple of hard punches to the body by Singwancha moments later removed all traces of smile from Amoncio's face as he went down again to the canvas and this time for good.

In the other 8-rounder, Cebu's Noel Adelmita (13-2-2 3KO) stopped another ring jester Sherwin Manatad (17-31-4 1KO), also from Butuan City, in the 5th round.
