WBO Oriental flyweight champion Arden Diale's title fightagainst at Julio Cesar ?Pingo? Miranda scheduled f or February 12 in Guadalajara. Mexico has been postponed to the 26th.

Promoter Sammy Gello-ani informed the Inquirer about the postponment but gave no reason. The two week delay is certain to help Diale who, according to well-known TV boxing analyst Moy Lainez hadn't trained hard enough.

News of the postponement came after fears of about not getting a visa on time and forcing Diale to take the long and tiring trip to Mexico via Europe was over and the fighter was set to leave for Mexico via Los Angeles with his manager Dante Almario.

Diale earned the title shot when he won the vacant WBO Oriental title with a 3rd round TKO of previously undefeated Jermie Jabel (15-0, 7 KO?s) last August 1.

Diale dropped Jabel once in every round to score an impressive victory but whether he can handle Miranda is a big question especially since he may be forced to travel via the long route to Mexico should he not get his US transit visa on time.

?Pingo? Miranda who is eight years older than Diale at 30, won the vacant WBO flyweight crown with a 5th round TKO over Filipino Richie Mepranum of MP Promotions last June 12. Miranda dropped Mepranum once in round four and twice in round five before the referee called a halt.

Miranda has a record of 34-5-1 with 27 knockouts while Diale, according to boxrec.com has a record of 14-5-3 with 3 knockouts.

Diale has been sparring at the ?In This Corner?Gym of Rommel Nazario, son of the late Rod Nazario in Sucat Paranaque with rugged Danilo Pena.

Lainez had earlier expressed some concern over Diale?s failure to do roadwork although he said he should have no problem making the flyweight limit. Lainez told the Inquirer Diale will ?either KO Miranda in the first round or get knocked out himself? although Gello-ani said Miranda ?is not so good and Diale has a chance.?
