Elorde, tests the international water for the first time when he fights Angel Rodriguez of Houston in one of the undercards of the Paquiao-Margarito world junior-middleweight championship bout Saturday (Sunday in Manila) at the Dallas Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

The 25-year-old Elorde, unbeaten in 11 pro-fights so far, four of them via stoppage. and Rodriguez (54-2-1 4 Kos) try to outdo each other in four rounds of their super-featherweight showdown

Two other Filipinos are in the 76-round preliminary of the heavy 88-round card, including the 12-round main event featuring seven-divisi n champion Manny Pacquiao and three-time world kingpin Antonio Margarito for the vacant World Boxing Council junior-middleweight crown.

Dennis Laurente battles American Rashad Holloway in eight rounds of a super-lightweight clash, while Richie Mepranum takes on Californian Anthony Villareal of an eight-round flyweight fight.

A another 12-round collision between Brandon Rios and Omri Lother for the WBA interim world junior featherweight plum serves as appetizer on the Pacquiao-Margarito fight.

A pair of 10-ropunders pitting Jesus Sotto-Karass of Mexico and Mik Jones and Ricardo Cordoba against Guillermo Rigondeaux complete the live television coverage of the event.

Also in the preliminaries are Francisco Dominguez and Roberto Marroquin, also for eight rounds, Mike Lee vs Keith Debow (8 rounds), Winston Mathis vs Jose Benavidez Jr. (6 rounds), and Jose Fernandez against Oscar Meza (6 rounds).
