Marc Jonathan de Jesus.
While 'Money' Mayweather and hall of fame promoter Don King sent shockwaves to the Golden Boy headquarters, Al Haymon and the rest of the boxing world, and the two Juans Marquez and Diaz are about to tangle in a crossroad fight, Filipino filmmaker and Pacland member Marc de Jesus is on pins and needles as the voting for Canon and Vimeo's "The Story Beyond the Still" film making contest is going to close in 24 hours.
De Jesus' entry 'Fool Circle' and four others made it to the finals after being selected in a grueling elimination by a panel of high-profile judges that included Hollywood legends Rick McCallum, the Producer of the Star Wars Movies' Episodes I-III, Russell Carpenter, the Academy Award Winning Cinematographer of "Titanic" and Rodney Charters, Director of Photography on "24".
The contest however has gone down to a popularity contest as the winner will be determined by Internet voting. De Jesus, who traces his roots from Cagayan and Munoz in the Philippines and looked up to Manny Pacquiao for inspiration, is now neck and neck with the other finalists going into the last hours of the contest and badly needs support to pull it up. The voting closes at 12 midnight Eastern on July 31.
