ABAP PRESIDENT?S MOTHER PASSES AWAY

The mother of Ricky Vargas, president of the Amateur Boxing Association of the Philippines and former PBA chairman and a top executive of PLDT/Smart passed away late Thursday evening.
The distinguished lady, Theresa Paredes Vargas would have been 85 in October. She passed away at the Makati Medical Center.
Her body will lie in state at Christ the King Church in Green Meadows beginning Friday after lunch.
Burial will be at Himlayang Pilipino on Sunday following a 2:00 p.m. mass.
