Two promising boxers from the ?Braveheart? stable of former North Cotabato governo Manny Pinol see action in WBO Oriental Championship fights in M?lang North Cotabato on Saturday seeking to follow Edren Dapudon?s spectacular win against No. 1 ranked Jesus Jimenez in Mexico recently in which Dapudong won the WBC silver flyweight title.

Highly-touted 23 year old WBO Oriental featherweight champion Lorenzo ?Thunderbolt? Villanueva, the 5?7? southpaw will make the second defense of his title against Balweg Bangoyan, the ?Davao Hitman? who lost by a 5th round TKO in his world title bid against Japan?s Toshiaki Nishioka last April 30..

Villanueva won the title with a 10th round TKO over Eric Canoy on July 4, 2009 and successfully defended the belt with a smashing 2nd round knockout of Eric Macas on February 14, this year.

In the other WBO title fight undefeated 22 year old Jermie ?The Worm? Jabel goes for the vacant flyweight crown against tough Arden Diale.

A former amateur standout Jabel whom Manny Pinol thinks highly of faces tough Ardin Diale who fought Johnreil Casimiro on a main event program and gave him a good fight until Casimero caught him with a solid blow to the body and took him out in the 8th round in a WBO Asia Pacific light flyweight title clash on May 28, 2009.

Titled ?Double Rumble? fight fans are likely to enjoy a slam-bang night of action based on the fighting styles of the boxers.

Villanueva has an impressive record of 17 knockouts in 18 wins while Bangoyan boasts of a record of 8 knockouts in 15 wins with just one loss in a world title fight.

Internationally respected referee Bruce McTavish will be the third man in the ring for the Villanuva-Bangoyan title fight.
