WBA super flyweight interim champion Nonito ?The Filipino Flash? Donaire (23-1, 15 KO's) says he is in great shape as he prepares for his title defense against Mexico?s power-punching Hernan ?Tyson? Marquez (27-1, 20 KO's) in Puerto Rico on the ?Latin Fury/Pinoy Power? series staged by Bob Arum?s Top Rank Promotions on July 10.

Donaire sparred twelve rounds on Monday with former WBO featherweight champion Steven Luevano, Glenn Gonzales. Bruno Escalante and Dodie Boy Penalosa Jr, son of the former two division world champion Dodie Boy Penalosa.

He said that after the workout he ?felt really, really good and I?m ready for this fight.? Donaire who is determined to move up in weight because he has to struggle to make the 115 pound limit said ?I?m getting there. I?m seven pounds away and I have the whole of next week to cut it down.?

Donaire stressed ?I feel very good. I am in really good shape and very confident and focused.?

Donaire said he will spar with lightweight Robert ?The Ghost? Guerrero (26-1-1, 18 KO?s) on Wednesday pointing out that he?s having ?good sparring with bigger guys.?

?The Filipino Flash? who stunned cocky Vic Darchinyan when he knocked him out with a cracking left hook to win the IBF and IBO flyweight titles on July 7, 2007 in what was voted the ?Knockout of the Year? said the fight with Marquez would definitely be his last at 115.

Donaire said ?I?m done with keeping my weight down ? even as he indicated he wanted to fight anyone who is willing to fight him at 118 pounds before moving up again to super bantamweight.

He said trainer Robert Garcia who was involved in some differences with former IBF light flyweight champion Brian Viloria and his manager Gary Gittelsohn is with him all the way and ?has been really good.?
