WBO No.1 ranked super bantamweight Rey ?Boom Boom? Bautista will train at the Roger Mayweather gym in Las Vegas, Nevada along with WBO Oriental bantamweight champion Michael Domingo and Philippine light welterweight champion Mark Jason Melligen.

Mayweather is a former two-division world champion and the uncle of Floyd Mayweather Jr whom he trained for several fights including the fight against Ricky ?The Hitman? Hatton.

The three fighters from the famed ALA Gym are scheduled to leave for Las Vegas along with trainer Edito ?Ala? Villamor on October 28. They will be joined one week later by Z ?The Dream? Gorres who has a WBO super flyweight interim title fight against Jose Lopez in Las Vegas on December 5.

Bautista is scheduled to fight tough Mexican Heriberto Ruiz (39-7-2, 23 KO?s) on the Paul Malignaggi-Ricky Hatton fight card at the MGM Grand on November 22.

Former Cebu resident Tony Martin has informed boxing patron Tony Aldeguer that he had found a good sparring partner for Bautista. The fighter was identified as Cornelius Lock, a 29 year old southpaw who is a super featherweight with a record of 18-3 with 11 knockouts.

Martin said Lock is ?young and a good boxer and is very keen to spar with Boom Boom.? Martin also said ?we have the blessing of Roger Mayweather to spar at their gym.?

Lock scored an impressive 10th round TKO over Roger Gonzalez (27-1, 18 KO?s) in his last fight on June 18.

He was told by Mayweather that at any given time fighters come to thegym ?so there will be a chance for more sparring partners of different weight levels.?

Martin said Mayweather had a fighter named Emmanuel Augustus whom he described as a ?seasoned professional who has fought the likes of Mickey Ward. He fights at 140 pounds and Mayweather indicated ?he would make good sparring for Melligen.?

Augustus is 33 years old and has a record of 38-29-6 with 20 knockouts. Last May 30 he scored a six round unanimous decision over Filipino Jun Pader in New South Wales , Australia .

Martin informed Aldeguer that they could utilize fighters at the Top Rank Gym in Las Vegas ?should we need to.?
