World rated North American Boxing Federation super bantamweight champion Bernabe Concepcion credits Filipino ring idol Manny Pacquiao for his 8th round knockout victory over tough Mexican champion Giovanni Caro in the main event of a highly successful US promotional debut by Pacquiao?s MP Promotions at the Sycuan Resort and Casino in El Cajon, California.

Respected WBC ring physician Dr. Allan Recto told www.insidesports.ph, Standard Today and Viva Sports that Concepcion said he ?got inspired by Manny during the 8th round when he hit Caro in the lower abdomen and Caro winced in pain pointing to his groin.?

Dr. Recto said that ?even though the referee may not have seen the blow clearly, he ruled it a low blow? and slapped Bernabe with a point deduction after which he sent Caro to the neutral corner and gave him time to recover.

Concepcion recalled that he ?looked for Manny and he saw him clench his fist and point to his heart.? Concepcion said ?nabuhayan ako dahil kay kuya Manny.?

Immediately after that Dr. Recto said an inspired Concepcion turned aggressive hammering Caro with hard shots to the head which caused the knockout.

Dr. Recto noted that the tough Mexican ?hit the canvas and could no longer continue? and by his amazing comeback Concepcion showed ?his heart was bigger than Caro even as he looked determined to win at all cost.?

Shortly after the fight ended Pacquiao's lawyer Franklin "Jeng' Gacal told us that they were scared that the ring doctor who examined Concepcion's eye which was almost completely shut would stop the fight but Concepcion told the doctor he was fine and was reportedly given one last round.
