Top Rank promoter Bob Arum says he has come to terms with WBO super flyweight champion Fernando Montiel for a rematch against Z The Dream? Gorres in the Asian gambling and entertainment center of Macau on December 13.

In an overseas telephone conversation with www.insidesports.ph, Manila Standard and Viva Sports, Arum said he had a big meeting in Las Vegas (Thursday, Manila Time) and ?pretty much finalized the card.? He said ?the one aspect is we are reaching out to the manager of Z Gorres and requested our help saying ?if you can help and have the guy call me I would really appreciate it instead of going through a dozen others.?

Arum disclosed that he had met with Fernando Beltran who told him that Montiel ?is willing to do that fight and we agreed on terms for Montiel and now we have to reach terms with Z Gorres.?

Arum requested that we request Gorres? management team of Cebu boxing patron Tony Aldeguer and his son Michael to call him ?because we want to make that fight (Montiel vs Gorres).

Montiel scored a controversial split decision win over Gorres in the ?Moment of Truth? fight card in Cebu in March last year and Gorres has been eager to get a chance to avenge that loss in a fight which a large majority of sportswriters believed he won.

Arum said that the big fight card will have former world light flyweight champion Brian Viloria fight IBF champion Ulises Solis for the Mexican?s title while North American Boxing Federation super bantamweight champion Bernabe Concepcion will also see action on the card which will also include former heavyweight champion Hasim Rahman against a heavyweight from New Zealand Shane Cameron.

We contacted Tony and Michael Aldeguer regarding Arum?s request but they both said they would have to first clear it with Golden Boy Promotions sincel Gorres is under contract with them and there are plans for a fight for him in the US sometime in November.

However, they promised to get back the moment they get word from Golden Boy Promotions and we relayed their response by text to Arum.
