Ciso ?Kid Terrible? Morales will defend his WBO Oriental super bantamweight title against 20 year old Thai challenger Thong Thai Rajanondh in Talisay, Cebu on October 3.
In a card dubbed ?Fight Night in Talisay? the promising undefeated youngster Morales who has a record of 12-0 with 7 knockouts hopes to keep his winning streak going against Rajanondh who is reportedly a brawler who doesn?t back off. The Thai has a record of 17-8 with 4 knockouts.
The fights will be telecast over the top-rated weekly boxing show ?The Main Event? over IBC 13 on Sundays at 9:00 p.m. sponsored by Tanduay, the No.1 Rhum with support from Pagcor and PCSO with a replay over Viva Prime which is carried by Destiny Cable.
In another title fight on the same exciting card undefeated Jhonreil ?Quadro Alas? Casimiro goes for the vacant WBO Asia Pacific junior flyweight title against Thailand ?s Liempetch Sor Veerapol.
The 18 year old Casimiro has an impressive record of 10-0 with 5 knockouts while his opponent who is said to be a dangerous puncher boasts of a record of 10-3 with 7 knockouts.
In a worthy supporting bout over ten rounds Amor Tino who handed Roland Teofilo his first defeat in last Sunday?s card at the Cebu Coliseum will clash with Rey Labao who belongs to the stable of American Dante Ortiz from Las Vegas .
Labao who has a record of 15-1 with 11 knockouts is back with a vengeance after quitting boxing for sometime and his battle with Tino could be a barnburner.
Undefeated 17 year old South Korean flyweight Jonghwa Lee will take on Erwin Pulvera while light flyweight Jheter Oliva, another promising 21 year old goes up against Jerome Buntog and is bound to add another win to his unbeaten record.
