The MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Top Rank promoter Bob Arum says the dream match between Filipino boxing icon Manny Pacquiao and the recognized ?Golden Boy? of boxing Oscar De La Hoya is doing so well he categorized it as ?terrific.?

In an overseas telephone conversation with www.insidesports.ph, Manila Standard and Viva Sports, Arum said he will ?sit down with Golden Boy at the MGM in Las Vegas on Thursday (US Time) and everybody grabs their tickets, so let?s see how many tickets are left.?

Arum said he knows that Top Rank needs over 5,000 tickets and Golden Boy ?about the same amount? even as he wondered aloud ?I don?t know whether there will be any seats left.?

Arum reiterated what he told us weeks ago that Pacquiao planned to arrive in Los Angeles on September 14 and would begin traning before embarking on a big promotional tour starting October 1 before the Statue of Liberty in New York.

The tour will also stop in Chicago where Pacquiao received a warm reception during the promotional tour for the David Diaz lightweight battle and had also scheduled stops in Houston and San Antonio , Texas as well as San Francisco and Los Angeles where there is a large core of Filipinos.
