A boxing fan from Sydney, Australia has informed www.insidesports.ph that Filipino boxer Jurland Ceniza was knocked out in the second round by undefeated Australian Lenny Zappavigna (16-0-0 12KOs) in a blatant mismatch.

We were informed that Ceniza took a bad beating especially with powerful body shots thrown by Zappavigna who at one time was a sparring partner of Filipino ring idol Manny Pacquiao.

Ceniza was counted out at 56 seconds of the second round by referee Brian McMahon.

The fight was held at Liverpool in Sydney.

Ceniza has a record of 6-10-1 with 3 knockouts. Significantly, the Filipino has fought eight times this year, losing his last seven fights once again raising serious questions about mismatches in Australia.

Besides, according to the records of boxrec.com, Ceniza lost by a 7th round TKO to Jason Crowe last July 25 and fought Zappavigna one month and two days later. This itself is a violation of the accepted rule where a fighter is required to take a 45-day break after a stoppage.
