
FEARLESS FIGHTERS COME FACE-TO-FACE AT PRESSCON

The stars of the "Fearless Fighting: Intensity 8" showdown on Friday, August 29 come face-to-face on the eve of the rumble at the spanking, new air-conditioned Ynares Recreational Center in th Pasig Capitol Complex at 10:00 a.m. today.
Bad blood has already developed between the pride of the Philippines, Adrian Hillana, who will defend his middleweight crown against fiery Iranian warrior an Razi Jabarri in the Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) main event on Friday and organizers are making sure they won.
The exciting fight card begins at 7:00 p.m. at the venue which is in front of the Rotonda on Shaw Boulevard and fans will have no tpouble because of the large area for parking within the complex.
Jabarri is hell-bent on avenging an earlier loss to Hillana who KO'ed the Iranian in a mere 14 seconds. Jabarri has trained hard and promises its going to be a different story this time around. Since his loss to Hillana, Jabarri has strung together a number of victories.
Hillana promises to do his talking in the Octagon.
Presented by Fearless Fighting Championship and Viva Sports and backed by PAGCOR, Metrocard, Super Security Agency, PCSO, Rudy Project and media partners Calibre Studios, Magic 89.9, NU 107, Crossover 105.1, DZSR Sports Radio, Espresso Plus, and Synermaxx, the Fearless Intensity 8 event also features 26 other equally exciting fighters.
There will be two championship fights (middleweight and featherweight) and one super fight and there are also six qualifying undercards, including a pair of heavyweight matches.
Combining the various disciplines of boxing, wrestling, karate, kickboxing, kung fu, taekwondo and even muay thai, MMA is the ultimate in full contact sports where a wide variety of fighting techniques are used, including both striking and grappling.
Fought in an octagon arena which is used in the US , MMA is fast becoming a favorite sport among Filipinos. It is actually one of the fastest rising sports in Japan, Brazil and the United States.
