The pride of the Philippines Adrian Hillana defends his middleweight crown against Iranian Razi Jabarri when the Fearless Intensity 8 Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Championship unfurls on Friday at the New Ynares Center in (Kapitolyo) Pasig City in front of the Rotonda on Shaw Boulevard.

Hillana kayoed Jabarri 14 seconds into their fight when they first fought but the Iranian is determined to exact revenge.

Since losing to Hillana, the Iranian has won several fights, thus making their rematch a must-see battle.

Presented by Fearless Fighting Championship and Viva Sports and backed by PAGCOR, Metrocard, Super Security Agency, PCSO, Rudy Project and media partners Calibre Studios, Magic 89.9, NU 107, Crossover 105.1, DZSR Sports Radio, Espresso Plus, and Synermaxx, the Fearless Intensity 8 event also features 26 other equally exciting fighters.

There will be two championship fights (middleweight and featherweight) and one super fight and there are also six qualifying undercards, including a pair of heavyweight matches.
Action starts at 7 p.m.

Combining the various disciplines of boxing, wrestling, karate, kickboxing, kung fu, taekwondo and even muay thai, MMA is the ultimate in full contact sports where a wide variety of fighting techniques are used, including both striking and grappling.

Fought in an octagon arena, MMA is fast becoming a favorite sport among Filipinos. It is actually one of the fastest rising sports in Japan, Brazil and the United States.
