Z ?The Dream? Gorres (28-2-2, 15 KO?s) is ready to take on WBO super nflyweight champion Fernando Montiel ( 37-2-1, 28 KO?s) if the details can be worked out.

ALA Gym?s Michael Aldeguer who has assumed the mantle of his father, respected boxing patron Tony Aldeguer said they are ?open to a rematch and are waiting for a formal offer.?

He said ?we want to fight Montiel? following the hugely controversial split decision loss to the WBO champion in ?The Moment of Truth? fight card staged in Cebu on February 24 last year.

Top Rank promoter Bob Arum in an overseas telephone conversation with www.insidesports.ph, Viva Sports and Manila Standard Today said the fight card is planned for December 13 in Macau ?immediately after the big show between Oscar (De La Hoya) and Manny (Pacquiao? in Las Vegas? which is primed for December 6 in case both sides can agree on revenue sharing terms which up to now appears to be the major stumbling block.

Earlier plans for Gorres to possibly fight Jorge Arce were scuttled after Arce agreed to take on WBA super flyweight interim champion Rafael "El Torito" Concepcion in Mexico City on September 15.

Aside from the Gorres-Montiel rematch Filipino Brian Viloria, the former WBC light flyweight champion will battle Mexico?s Ulises Solis for the IBF crown.

Arum also disclosed that he will put on a big card at the Los Angeles Dodgers baseball stadium on November 1 in which IBF flyweight champion Nonito ?The Filipino Flash? Donaire will face South Africa?s Moruti Mthalane in a mandatory title defense.

Arum believes the fight card will be ?sensational because the venue is just five minutes away from Glendale, California which has a big Filipino community.?

The LA card will be headlined by the showdown between WBA welterweight champion Antonio Margarito and Joshua Clottey.
