Rafael ?El Torito? Concepcion arrived one day behind schedule after his flight out of New York was delayed, thereby missing his connecting flight from Los Angeles to the Philippines, but he's ?ready to go? according to his handler Damon De Berry of Optimum Sports Agency.

Concepcion appeared very confident of his chances against AJ ?Bazooka? Banal when they clash for the World Boxing Association super flyweight title at the Cebu Coliseum on Saturday in an eagerly-awaited showdown.

The hard-hitting Panamanian who has trained for some ten weeks for the biggest fight of his career in a record of 10 wins with 6 knockouts and 2 defeats, both of which he quickly avenged by knockouts, is scheduled to work out at 4:00 p.m. today at the popular Fight Club in the heart of Cebu City.

De Berry said Concepcion is winding down training and is in the best shape of his life for the battle with Banal, the undefeated 19 year old southpaw who has a record of 14 knockouts in 17 wins.

One of the other major attractions on the fight card which is being put together by the famed ALA Gym along with Golden Boy Promotions and the giant broadcast network ABS-CBN will be the WBA Intercontinental light flyweight championship between stylish Milan Melindo and Panama's Carlos Melo who looked strong when presented to a large crowd of fight fans at a public workout at the SM Entertainment Center on Sunday.

The fights will be telecast ?live? over Studio 23 beginning at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday and replayed over Channel 2 at 9:45 a.m. on Sunday.
