WBO Oriental super featherweight champion Ciso ?Kid Terrible? Morales faces the biggest test of h is young career when he battles rugged Thai challenger Narongnoi Or Muangklang in the main event of a slambang fight card ?Collision at the Coliseum? in Cebu City on Saturday, July 19.

In the main supporting bout Ranee ?KO Kid? Ganoy, the awesome punching machine who has earned a name for himself over the past four years fighting for Dido Bohol who migrated to Australia several years ago, clashes with Sapapetch Sor Sakaorat who stands at least two inches taller than Ganoy and is solidly built.

It will be Ganoy?s first appearance in a Philippine ring after a fairly long absence and he is determined to put on a show for the hometown fans.

With 20 knockouts in 24 wins including a spectacular 8th round KO of former world title challenger Robbie Peden who went the distance in a title fight with Mexican legend Marco Antonio Barrera and stopped reigning world lightweight champion Nate Campbell twice, Ganoy confidently said he is going for a knockout.

Both his manager Bohol and Ganoy are hoping to land some big fights in the US with the help of international matchmaker Sampson Lewkowicz including possible fights against former world lightweight champions Juan Diaz and Julio Diaz.

Sapapetch Sor Sakaorat (13-4,8 KO?s) has won his last three fights by knockout but that doesn?t faze Ganoy who said he relies on his two fists which pack devastating power t do the talking. Both fighters weighed in at 136 ? pounds.

Morales seemed a bit nervous because he hadn?t seen any fight tapes of his opponent. The undefeated champion with a record of 11-0 with 7 knockouts said he will use the opening rounds to size up his Thai adversary before turning on the heat.

Morales said he was still young and only on his second year as a pro having made his debut on February 6, 2007 and is not looking too far ahead to a world ranking or a really big fight in the US just yet.

Morales won the WBO Oriental title with a ten round unanimous decision in a close battle with tough Indonesian Marangun Marbun in Tubod, Lanao del Norte last February 8. Tubod will also be the site for WBO champion Gerry Penalosa?s title defense against Nestor Rocha on September 21.

Promoter Sammy Gello-ani who is quickly building up a reputation for his SGG Promotions said Morales ?needs to put on an impressive showing for Cebuano fight fans and this is a big test for him? in a card presented in cooperation with Viva Sports and Tanduay, the No. 1 Rhum.

In the third big fight on ?Collision in Cebu? former world light flyweight title challenger Bert ?Ninja? Batawang (42-13-3, 36 KO?s) clashes with stocky Benjie Sorolla (24-16-3, 8 KO?s) in a ten round bout. Batawang is coming off a fourth round KO of Samransak Singmanassak at the Cebu Coliseum last May 3.

The Morales-Narongnoi title fight will be telecast on the top-rated weekly boxing show ?The Main Event? on Sunday, July 20 at 9:00 p.m. over IBC 13 sponsored by Tanduay, the NO.1 Rhum in cooperation with PAGCOR and PCSO.
