The streaming platform Prime Video has announced the premiere of "The Greatest," a biographical miniseries about the life of legendary American former world champion Muhammad Ali, starting November 4th.

This production marks the first authorized fictional series to explore the life, triumphs, and struggles of the global icon both inside and outside the ring. The project is produced by Lonnie Ali, the boxer's widow, along with actor and producer Michael B. Jordan. Filming for this highly anticipated miniseries took place in various locations in Ontario, Canada, including Toronto and Hamilton.

The project features Lonnie Ali as an executive producer, ensuring an authentic portrayal of the former world champion's story. Ben Watkins will direct, and Outlier Society, founded by Michael B. Jordan, is part of the production team.

The series will chronicle the journey of Cassius Clay, the athlete's birth name, to becoming Muhammad Ali, one of the most iconic figures in boxing and social activism in the United States. The plot will cover both his rise to the world heavyweight title and the moments that shaped his influence beyond the ring.

In addition to showcasing his sporting achievements, "The Greatest" will explore his personal challenges, the decisions that defined his legacy, and his impact on the fight for civil rights, solidifying his status as a role model who transcended sports.
