Apolinar, Santisima to fight on June 19 in Japan

STABLEMATES Pete Apolinar and Alex Santisima Jr. of Zip Sanman Promotions will face different opponents on Friday, June 19 at the Edion Hisaya Plaza in Nagoya, Aichi, Japan.
The 31-year-old Apolinar [19-7-1, 12KOs] will fight Ryusei Ishii [12-9-1, 9KOs] in an 8-rounder.
Apolinar lost to Kenji Fujita by a unanimous decision for the WBO Asia Pacific featherweight title last December 6 in Tokyo.
Santisima [12-2-0, 6KOs], on the other hand, will face compatriot and Japan-based Richard “The Beast” Pumicpic [23-15-3, 7KOs] also for 8-rounds.
The 26-year-old Santisima bowed to Wensong Liu of China by a 5th round technical knockout for the vacant WBC Far East featherweight title last June 22 in Yantai.
