Filipino and United States chess master Almario Marlon Quiroz Bernardino Jr. is slated to play simultaneous chess exhibition matches at the Cultural Center in San Manuel, Tarlac on Friday, May 22, 2026.

Bernardino, who is also certified an online Arena Grandmaster, will play multiple games against students and chess enthusiasts.

The chess simul is one of the sports activities hosted by San Manuel, Tarlac Mayor Doña Cresencia "Donya" Reyes Tesoro.

"I would like to thank the Local Government of San Manuel, Tarlac, led by Mayor Doña Cresencia 'Donya' Reyes Tesoro
